It's worth taking a short break here to recover from the climb. A tranquil border crossing with a small bench on the Slovenian side. There is a free toilet (donations welcome) where you can also fill up your water bottles. On the Austrian side there is a restaurant (self-service, closed on Tuesdays) that serves classic Austrian dishes.
