More of a flat track xc than all out MTB, but there can be some nice minor skills tests in area's.
Mostly on bridleway but a tiny bit of road to pick up the next bridleway (edge of a farmer's field)
For me it's nice as a quick blow the cobwebs off on a dark night ride.
Good lights required to pick up muddy area's and grove's.

Watch out for some fly-tipping mess at the western, Hitchin Road end. The undergrowth was also fairly dense in peak-summer.
