Very few public spaces in Asturias hold such a genuine and peculiar charm as this park, of course, just the fact of being located in a town and a coastal enclave such as Castropol and its estuary, is already an argument in favor of its beauty. Even so, the "Vicente Loriente" park is, in itself, a unique example of the imprint left by the sons of the people who achieved prestige and social recognition in overseas lands.
