    The trails above Lake Carezza offer magnificent views of the Catinaccio massif, or Rosengarten, one of the most iconic mountain ranges in the Dolomites, located between Val di Fassa and Val Gardena. Characterized by steep rock faces and peaks such as the Roda di Vael (2,807 m), the massif is famous for its breathtaking views, hiking trails and the phenomenon of the "Alpenglühen", which turns the rocks red at sunset.
