Mountaineering

The Taberg is unique on our planet, consisting of a lump of iron ore sticking out of the ground, formed 1200 million years ago. The ore consists of titanomagnetitolivenite, the iron content is low, only approx. 30%. The quality is all the better because titanium and vanadium are present in relatively large quantities.

Hiking

The Taberg is a unique feature on our planet, consisting of a block of iron ore protruding from the ground, which originated 1200 million years ago. 1000 m long, 450 m wide and a good 100 m high, measured from Taberg station. The ore consists of titanomagnetite olivinite, the iron content is low, only about 30%. The quality is all the better because it also contains relatively large amounts of titanium and vanadium. Guided tours in the mine are possible during the summer months.
