An old viaduct. What purpose it had I do not know. Maybe it belongs to the complex of the castle Hohlenfels.

"Concrete arch on the way to the Hohlenfels domainThis concrete arch next to the small railway line is related to the former cable car. It was intended to ensure that the guests of the Hohlenfels castle and the domain who were wandering or traveling underneath did not fall on the heads of the lorries. "

I have often wondered what the part is supposed to do! Inspired by this picture here I did some research: It could also be part of the railway line of the former small railway from Zollhaus to Naststätten and St. Goarshausen. A wooden sign nearby indicates the former "Kleinbahntrasse" towards Mudershausen.
(I am not a local researcher and do not want to appear as a smart ass - a residual uncertainty is possible!)
