Hiking
In the 8th century, an early medieval hall church stood on the site of the parish church. When Klausen was founded in the 13th century, a larger Romanesque church was built. Today's late Gothic hall church was built between 1435 and 1506. In the 18th century the architectural style was adapted to the times. The Baroque style found its way into the parish church.
Particularly worth mentioning are the high altar by Benedikt Faistenberger and Veit Rabl (1661 – 1663) and the coppersmith tomb on the north side of the church.

The church is first mentioned as a parish church in 1208. Today only a few remains of this originally Romanesque building can be seen in the lower part of the tower. Today's late Gothic building was built by Benedikt Weibhauser and inaugurated in 1494.
