    Hiking

Little Elden (9,018 feet) is a subpeak of the main Elden Mountain to the south. There are several trails that access the trails and forest roads on the ridge, but the final, short summit route consists of simply off-trail boulder-hopping. There is no exposure or technical moves required, but there is no official trail popping out on the summit. This is the most northern high point on Elden Mountain and isn't visited nearly as much as the main summit.
