    Mountaineering

Great climb to some of the best views in the area. Well worth the walk up.

    August 8, 2023

    Running

At 2,037 feet (621 m) High Willhays is the highest point of Dartmoor National Park, and also the highest point in England, south of the Peak District.

High Willhays is two metres higher than nearby Yes Tor, but not as prominent or rocky. It's a brilliant run from Okehampton, Meldon Reservoir or from a wilder direction across the moor.

    Running

High Willhays is the highest point in the south west and just bests it's neighbour Yes Tor, I like approaching from the okemont drop, coming from kitty tor down and up via fordsland ledge. An absolute beast of a run or hike up
