Directly at the entrance of Altenhagen (coming from Kröpelin) is a beautifully landscaped pond, with reeds and water lilies, surrounded by shady pastures. There is a covered snack bar and a non-covered Brotzeitholzgruppe. The trick: at this is a man-high wood carving. An oversized wooden carved goose is right by the pond. Great break in the summer.
