Along with the Wangerooge, the Harlingerland is one of the ferries between Harlesiel and Wangerooge. The ship was built in 1979 at the Gebr. Schürenstedt shipyard in Bardenfleth. The keel was laid on February 8th and the ship was launched and completed in May 1979.
