At the time of National Socialism there was a "Seeavierhorst Kamp" and an "Flugplatz Kamp" in the town of Rogowo. In the last days of World War II, children (refugees) were evacuated from the seaplane base with seaplanes that took off from this lake. A plane with about 80 people (mostly children) crashed into the lake. All the occupants of the plane died. Zeit Online: "The dead children of Kamp".
