The Coyote Ridge Trail is one of the main trails in the Coyote Ridge Natural Area and connects it to several other protected public open spaces and preserves. As you ascend the long, wide switchbacks up the ridge for about 500 feet, you get great views of where the foothills of the Colorado Front Range meets the plains. You also might see animals like deer, rabbits, rattlesnakes, and vultures!
