The former Risslochschanze was designed as a natural ski jump. In summer, only the starting point (from the Klause hiking trail to the lower Rissloch waterfalls) can be guessed at. The outlet below the ski jump was fixed with a wooden construction that crossed the Rissbach.

Lost in the forest, the ski jump in Riesloch. Built in 1949 and not used since about 1997. The last remnants suddenly appear out of nowhere. Here you can see how nature reclaims everything that man has given up.
