Hiking

Great hike to the Buarbreen glacier zoom. Sure-footedness and good hiking boots recommended. Parts must be overcome with existing thick ropes and suspension bridge. Asphaltierter parking lot without toilets for 150 NK only with credit card to pay. The unpaved road to the parking lot leads up the river and would be a nice hike from height Odda Camping with 80 minutes.

The starting point is a large parking lot (ATTENTION: not a bargain 185 NOK to be shelled out) where a well-marked path leads to the glacier. Afterwards you can recharge your batteries in the bistro/restaurant with a view of the glacier.

The glacier can be seen from afar. We had bad luck with the weather, quite a bit of rain and again and again low clouds or fog
