The original fieldstone church of Vienau was built in the 13th/14th century. In 1886, the old nave was demolished during a major renovation and replaced with a larger one. The western transept tower from the early Gothic period has been preserved. The tower contains Gothic wall paintings and a bronze bell from the 18th century. The simple interior features a noblemen's box and a Rühlmann organ.
