Fort Carré, often referred to as Fort Carré d'Antibes, is a 16th-century star-shaped fort with four arrow-shaped bastions, located on a 26-metre-high promontory in Antibes, France. The fort was commissioned by Henry II in the 16th century, at a time when Antibes was on a tense border with the Duchy of Savoy. In the 17th century, the fort was redeveloped by the Marquis de Vauban. The fort was decommissioned in the early 20th century.

Very nice castle complex with a great view. Admission only possible with a guide (English, French). Entrance fee 3€/adult including guided tour.
