Lake Scandarello, an enchanting expanse of artificial water, took shape thanks to the construction of a dam along the course of the Scandarello torrent, a tributary of the Tronto river. It is located in the western peaks of the Monti della Laga, located in the territory of the municipality of Amatrice, in northern Lazio.
