Stensjö Village is recognizable from Astrid Lindgren's films about the Children in the Noise Village because several scenes were taken directly in the village or on the roads around the village. The village is a bit out of the way but is well worth a visit. Tilia's café is open Wednesdays to Sundays between 10am and 4pm.

A typical Swedish café and restaurant at the destination of our bike tour, the museum village and cultural monument Stensjö By, which is surrounded by a large nature reserve criss-crossed by rock slabs, which gives an idea of the hard life in earlier times. There is a selection of small dishes of the day, cakes and delicious waffles either with jam and cream or jam plus two scoops of ice cream. Last but not least, the trip there was worth it.
