The path to the summit is not an official hiking trail. Nevertheless, there is a clearly recognizable path that can be followed without problems. There is also no prohibition sign for this. In fact, only official hiking trails in the High Tatras are allowed to be used, so you are probably moving in a gray area here. The summit itself is gorgeous and doesn't require great technical skill. One spot is a bit more difficult, but this can be avoided. What you really need is a good level of fitness and sure-footedness. The mountain is not for the completely inexperienced. You should definitely wear a helmet here. At the top you will find a summit book.

Mount Satan is not on any marked tourist trail, so only members of climbing clubs or those traveling with mountain guides can officially access the mountain. So this is an ideal place for mountain climbing enthusiasts slopegame.io who want to challenge themselves.

Satan (German Satan, Hungarian Sátán, Polish Szatan)[1] is a 2422 m n.m. high mountain in the High Tatras in Slovakia.[2] The mountain is located on the main axis of the side ridge Hrebeň bášt (German Basteigrat), has two unspecified peaks (north and south) and rises above the valleys of Mlynická dolina in the west and Mengusovská dolina in the east.
The name of the mountains, like the nearby Pekelník (2374 m) and Diablovina (2390 m) and the Satanovo sedlo saddle, is connected with the theme of hell. According to a legend, Satan hid a treasure in the gully Satanov žľab (German Satancouloir), which a shepherd was looking for with a magician. But they were chased away again and again by Satan's boulders. According to another version, Satan drove a cunning highlander to the mountain, who took away the treasure, but by a trick Satan did not get a soul. In reality, in the 18th century there was mining activity by gold miners on the slopes of the mountain, from which boulders often fell into the valley.

The mountain is off the tourist trail and is therefore officially only accessible to members of alpine clubs or with a mountain guide
