Church of S. Pietro called Chiesa Rossa, on the rocky outcrop overlooking the river Breggia, in the complex of the ancient castle. The name of "red church" is due to the red color of the facade wanted by the bishop Archinti in 1599; a local tradition connects the name to the massacre of the fam. Rusca by the Busioni of Mendrisio which took place in the church on Christmas night of 1390.
