The Panoramastrasse Oberaar is a private road of the Oberhasli AG power plants, which was developed in 1949 for the construction of the Oberaar dam. The road is open to the public from around the end of June to the end of October. As an alternative, the Oberaarbahn can be used to reach the Oberaar area from the Hotel Grimsel Hospiz and get a unique perspective of the Grimselwelt.
