Bonny Glen Wood is a working forest with two trails that head out from the car park. You can either take the 1km hike around Bonnyglen Lough or head to Lough Namalagh which is around 4km there and back. The trails pass through a Sitka spruce plantation.

Sadly, Bonny Glen doesn't look like that any more all the trees at the start have been cleared.
