Les Deux Alpes, also known as Les 2 Alpes, is a French winter and summer sports tourist resort located in Oisans, in the Écrins massif. Located in the Isère department and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, it is 64 km southeast of Grenoble.Located between 1,650 and 3,600 meters above sea level, the resort, which has one of the largest skiable glaciers in Europe, is very famous in particular for its summer skiing and its particularly accessible altitude area.It was one of the first ski resorts created in France, in the 1930s, just after Chamonix-Mont-Blanc.
