The station on the BRB Augsburg-Kaufbeuren-Füssen and Munich-Kaufbeuren-Füssen railway lines is located directly on the Way of St. James Munich - Lindau (Lake Constance) and is also often used as a starting point for hikers, cyclists and pilgrims on the Way of St. James. Unfortunately, not every train on the route stops here, so you should find out about the stopping times beforehand.

It is very important that you cannot buy train tickets in Leuterschach, but you can get them on the train for free, but you have to contact the train attendant immediately after boarding, who are very fussy in this regard. If you want to get off in Leuterschach with your bike instead, you should get on the middle bike section on long trains, as due to the short platform, not all doors may open at the beginning or end of the train.

Opposite the station is the Voglerwirt inn and just 100 m away is a small Trinity Chapel.
