The cycle path is now shown here on komoot, but the route in the Teerofen area (approx. 3 km of unpaved forest section) is not entirely correct!

The exact route of the old railway line is marked, but in this section the actual path runs about 50 meters away (see waypoint, komoot Trail View from July 22, 2023)

So if you come from Schwinkendorf and reach the temporary end of the asphalt near the old Basedow train station, you have the choice of going slightly right or left - slightly right is right!

Released in summer 2023, this new cycle path leads from the entrance to Schwinkendorf (coming from Rambow) on the former Waren/Müritz-Malchin railway line for approx. 11 km (via Teerofen and Gielow) to the road-accompanying cycle path of the L202! (Connection to Malchin) Finest asphalt, but approx. from Teerofen it's 3km along an unpaved forest path until asphalt comes again!
