The beautiful, colorful house in the middle of Victoria is hard to miss. It was once a colonial shop, a traditional Creole shophouse owned by Seychelles guru Jivan Shah who bought it in Victoria in 1925. He lived on the top floor and his library was there.
The ground floor consists of coral blocks covered with limestone plaster made from crushed coral. Today there is a fabric shop downstairs.
