The Cabane de Antème is located at the top of a rocky slope with a waterfall and in front of the western part of the Dents-du-Midi with its highest peak Haute Cime. Not far away, even closer to the high cliffs of the Dents-du-Midi, in the middle of green slopes and close to a river that flows down from above, there is a small lake: the Lac de Antème. Since there is only one shower in the hut, the lake is ideal for swimming.
