This landmark is located in the Millstatt lido and was built in 1930. The diving tower, which is under monument protection, was reopened in summer 2019 and can be used by the public. There is a 3.5 and 10 meter high platform as well as a small and large slide.

The diving tower at the Millstätter Strandbad, which was built in 1930 and is a listed building, became a major attraction in the bathing experience at Lake Millstätter See due to its formal and technical design.

The combination of diving board and water slide was an absolute novelty at the time. The "looseness and playfulness" of the construction seems to breathe southern joie de vivre and is a unique phenomenon in today's otherwise very technoid bathing establishment - not only in Austria, but probably throughout Europe.
