Terrace Hill

Terrace Hill Trail offers an easy, quick hike, covering 0.8 miles (1.3 km) with a gentle 171 feet (52 metres) of elevation gain. You can complete this route in about 24 minutes, making it perfect for a short escape. As you ascend, the path winds through grassy slopes dotted with oaks and boulders. From the summit, you'll be treated to expansive panoramic views of San Luis Obispo and the surrounding peaks, like Cerro San Luis and Bishop Peak, providing a rewarding experience for minimal effort.

Accessing the Terrace Hill Trail is straightforward, and it's a great option for a spontaneous outing. Since there isn't much shade along most of the route, plan your visit for cooler parts of the day or bring a hat and plenty of water if you go during sunny hours.
