Ridden east to west, the housing gives way to a verdant tunnel of trees. Once under the A41 the gradient kicks up, the road narrows and becomes more gravelly, up past the scout camp. A left turn and swoopy descent follows, before the road climbs once more to join Bulstrode Lane.

Absolutely beautiful scenic route. Very narrow though and rather dark under the trees so don't forget to brig your lights and be aware of cars passing!
