On the route there are a number of resting places and recreational facilities, for example a pavilion between Pfrentsch and Pfrentschweiher. In this area you also have a wide view of the exemplary renatured landscape through which the Pfreimd meanders. The largest reservoir of the Middle Ages, the Pfrentschweiher, once extended at this point. It was drained in 1840, but the name has remained. Display boards around the state estate provide information about the history of the reservoir and its current agricultural use.
