There are still two factory chimneys on the site of the ENKA, a former artificial silk factory in Ede: the boiler chimney from 1920 and the spinning mill chimney from 1927. They were known to the employees as the thin and the thick. The spinning mill chimney is the highest masonry chimney in the Netherlands. Info see boei.nl/projecten/schoorstenen-enka-ede
