@The castle built in 1470 is one of the best preserved castle complexes in Sweden, absolutely recommendable. It can be visited from the dungeon to the attic and really every floor is worth it. All this for a very reasonable entrance fee of currently 95 SEK (2023). In the immediate vicinity there is a restaurant with reasonable prices and next to it a farm shop.

A visit to Torpa Stenhus is also worthwhile for families. The price for a family ticket (2 adults/2 children) is 240 SEK (about 20 euros). Only cash payment is possible at the entrance. If you want to use a credit card or mobile payment, you can buy the ticket in the café opposite.
