The world forest, the Bavarian State Arboretum.
The Gscheidhaferl probably already know: An arboretum (Latin arbor "tree") is a collection of different living trees and shrubs.
A collection of trees from all over the world, the Bavarian State Arboretum, is being built on an area of around one hundred hectares in the Kranzberger Forest. Since the first plantings in 1987, over 300 species of trees and shrubs have been represented, and there will be more than twice as many.
There are leaflets with an overview plan at the pavilion.
The individual subject areas are well signposted and can be explored either by bike or on foot.

Recommended for hikers and actually for everyone!
The world forest is basically an extension of my garden. I always travel here on my MTB :)
You can eliminate a few meters of altitude here and the selection of gravel paths is enormous :)
