The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Szczawne is an Orthodox parish church built in 1889. Originally Greek Catholic, the church was handed over to the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church in 1962. It is located on the Wooden Architecture Trail of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. Next to the church there is a wooden bell tower from 1889, and in the cemetery there are wooden crosses, one of which commemorates the 1000th anniversary of the baptism of Rus.
