Colle del Melogno is a mountain pass in the province of Savona in Italy. Located on the main chain of the Alps, it connects Ceva and Calizzano with Magliolo and Finale Ligure on the Ligurian Sea coast. The fortifications Forte Centrale were built between 1883-1895 and mainly served to protect against the French. Also a very popular pass for cyclists of all kinds. It is also considered a good starting point for hikes on the L' Altra Via dei Monti Liguri (cailiguria.it/AVML/portale/it/tappa_per_tappa.html)
