The trailhead is a great spot from which to access the hiking and biking trails along the western coast of Perry Lake. This area is often a good spot to see quail, turkey, and bald eagles.

The trailhead is within state park lands and requires a cash only $5 parking fee.

Located on the west side of Perry Lake, the Perry Lake Mountain Bike Trails feature 24 miles of single track and were build specifically for mountain biking.
