The tower was built around 1864, at least this is the date written on one of the ceiling beams. The locals call it Bismarck's tower, although everything indicates that it is not. On the map from 1938 it is marked with the letters AT, (German: Aussichtsturm), which simply means an observation tower.

The tower is located in a dense forest, and the trees have long since outgrown it. You can't count on the views. The stairs inside the tower are in very good condition and you can go up without any problems. The problem occurs only at the top floor. There used to be a ladder there, but now someone constructed a makeshift structure out of branches, but it also fell apart.
