The route from Villena, via Biar to Banyeres de Mariola, was completely off-road. Excellent cycle paths wind through the beautiful countryside. Therefore, I chose the road for the return journey this time. So far, this has been the best cycling section of the Camino. I met friendly people and had some lovely conversations. Biar is fantastic; the old town is definitely worth exploring on foot – a stroll through it is well worth it. 👍
