Naturparkhaus Inn on the Jauerling

The Gratz family awaits their guests with a lot of hospitality in the nature park house. Make yourself comfortable on the panoramic sun terrace and enjoy the regional dishes. A wonderful place for a break in the heart of the Jauerling Nature Park.

Opening hours:
In summer (May 1 to October 31) Thursday to Tuesday and public holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. In winter (November 1st to April 30th) Thursday to Sunday and public holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

As one of the most beautiful hiking regions in Eastern Austria, the Wachau invites you to linger. At 915 meters above sea level, on the Wachau terrace of the Jauerling, the nature park house is the perfect stage destination for your hiking excursion into the Waldviertel!
Alternatively, the nature park house can also be easily reached by car, only the last ten minutes are to be enjoyed.
In this way, you benefit from complete freedom from cars and tranquility in our guest house, and enjoy the highest and most beautiful view of the Danube from the Wachau terrace.
Throughout the year you can let yourself be pampered by the home-style and regional cuisine of the tenant family Gratz! We also offer the possibility of holding all kinds of celebrations (birthdays, company parties and the like) with us. We ask for a reservation for groups of 15 or more.

The inn in the Wachau / Jauerling region
The nature park around the Jauerling was founded between 1978 and 1986. At the same time the inn was already being built under the name "Hans Pichler Haus". In 2008 the house was taken over by the Gratz family under the name "Naturparkhaus" and subjected to energy and thermal renovation.
