We joined the group of bikers who meet regularly on a Thursday morning for a ride from Kingston Lacy car park around the trails and lanes around Kingston Lacy, Then back to the Stables Café for a nice cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit, we then spent the rest of the day there walking around the grounds. Lovely day out at a great NT house and parkland. (you don't have to be a NT member to be able to do the ride or get into the café for free)

Built in the 1600s, Kingston Lacy House was under the original ownership of the wealthy Bankes family and is known to be one of the most lavish homes in the UK.
Adorned in traditional Venetian design, it houses the largest private collection of Egyptian artifacts in the country.
