There once was a chapel on Martin-Luther-Platz. Unfortunately it no longer exists but its outline is marked on the ground.

Martin-Luther-Platz is scheduled to be redesigned in the near future. I'm excited to see how it turns out.

Personally, I think the Königsplatz (market square) next to it is nicer.

To the right of the Schwabach, the market square was built around 1300 and is now adjacent to the Schwabach town hall. The town hall has its origins in a vestibule from the 16th century; Over the centuries, the sandstone ground floor was supplemented by two half-timbered upper floors. The roof of the corner tower has been shining golden since the restoration in 2002 - a reminiscence of the gold fight. Many representative town houses still adorn the district to the right of the Schwabach. They often come from the period of reconstruction after the Thirty Years War.
