Hiking

A simple shelter provides sun and weather protection. Above all, at 1560 m above sea level, this is a magnificent viewpoint into the caldera basin of Salazie: in the middle is the Piton d'Anchain with its high plateau and behind it the towering caldera rims, including the summit points La Roche Écrite (2276 m above sea level) and Le Cimandef (2228 m above sea level).
