Tips
A simple shelter provides sun and weather protection. Above all, here at 1560 m above sea level there is a great vantage point into the Salazie caldera basin: in the middle of it is the Piton d'Anchain with its high plateau and behind it the towering caldera edges, etc. with the summit points La Roche Écrite (2276 m above sea level) and Le Cimandef 2228 m above sea level).
