In addition to the historic buildings of the city of Baia Mare, near the medieval center, at the beginning of the last century there was a place with a unique charm and special intimacy that marked many people from Baia Mare. It is said that it can be confused with the history of our city, the “Râul Domnitelor” citadel. Since 1921 it was called "Izvorul". A few years earlier it was named after the mandatary's family. In 1968 she was renamed "Butoiasu eu bere". It has stayed that way and will always stay that way!

Life pulsated here. It's the place where locals shared stories and memories every night, fell in love, made plans, made friends and even raised families.
