Owned and operated by the Forest Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Leadville National Fish Hatchery is an educational, recreational, and developmental space serving as a gateway to the Mount Massive Wilderness in Leadville, Colorado. There are informational signs around the hatchery and its trails, and you can even observe and feed the trout they house. There are restrooms and plenty of parking all around the hatchery premises.
