The Kellerkopf, located on the border between Dortmund-Lichtendorf and Holzwickede-Hengsen, is a striking hill in the southern Ruhr area. On its summit is the so-called 130er Memorial, a war memorial that was erected between 1926 and 1929 by the “Reichsbund ehem. 130er e.V.” This memorial honors the 5,000 soldiers of the “1st Lorraine Infantry Regiment No. 130 Metz” from the First World War who fell in France.
