The Lookout is the perfect place to catch the sunrise or sunset with less crowds than Tom's Thumb. It's a steep climb to the 3,858 foot overlook, but the viewing area offers unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains and wilderness areas. The Lookout views directly over Wingate Pass and down the spine of McDowell Mountain.
