Apelt Mill, Leuba
The Apelt Mill in Leuba is located directly on the Oder-Neisse Cycle Path and borders a beautiful orchard with approximately 60 old cherry, apple, and pear trees.

On November 19, 1863, the old mill became the property of the Apelt family. It was used as a grain mill and as a three-sided farm. 35 tons of grain were stored in silos. In 1945, the mill burned down in the chaos of the war. A new building was constructed in 1955. Mill operations ceased in the 1970s. The buildings served as a warehouse until the 1990s. There were plans for its use as a tourist attraction, but unfortunately, these never came to fruition.
