With its 27 meters, the Kickelberg is the highest point on the island and an excellent vantage point (also mapped). Furthermore, one discovers a partly longer / larger walled & fenced area, which must not be entered. This is a former anti-aircraft missile position of the NVA. Several bunkers are said to be there as well.
The plant was commissioned in 1974 and was forgotten after the fall of the wall.
In addition, expensive real estate (apartments) were later built.
